The delayed post.. The end of trip one

As the compiling process of the different documents and papers, demands more sorting before 'publishing';
the gaps between posts are widening.
This post, is intended to be a quick one, a wrap up on my first journey, the trip that seemed like half a lifetime. The study that revealed and led me on to further procedures, further processes; one that led me on to where I stand today. An urban study is one that can change your views, about your city, about where you live. The comparisons keep increasing, and this is exactly what happened with me as well.

The first of my two trips ended on 30th December,2013. A flight journey that saw me back to Bangalore, was again one, filled with introspection, questions, and most importantly a desire to 'act'. I was fueled by passion, and the 'need to know'. How can a city conceal its glorious history and reveal its magnificence in 'sporadic' gestures? That though almost took an entire semester to answer itself, yet you still find yourself pondering as to what exactly constitutes the greatness of Old Delhi! What would be the appropriate gesture to a site like that?

The smell of the airport was one that reminded me of 'the beginning and the end'. Yes , I did know that there was one more jaunt left. A last leap before a thesis. A last attempt to collect everything I would ever need, the support for my Bachelor's thesis.

To sign off, and keep this brief, I will just say ' One trip can teach you a lot about a city, but when you know there's a second time, the smart ones always complete as much as they can on the first jaunt, so that the second one gives them a chance to review.'
